Scholarship Program

Austin, Texas – Cielo Wind Power, LP of Austin, Texas – the largest independent wind power company in the United States – continues its 6^th year of support of students and education by pledging $20,000 in scholarships to school districts in Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico. Award recipients were honored at the Regeneration 2012 event in Amarillo, Texas and at the Earth Day Festival in Austin, Texas. Award recipients were given trees to plant at the Regeneration 2012 event held at Thompson Park in Amarillo. Cielo hosted hospitality booths at both events with educational games, drinks, giveaways and raffle prizes for attendees.
